Blowering Dam was sitting at 98.6 per cent capacity on Sunday and Water NSW will look at the possibility of creating airspaces mid-week.

But they will be keeping a strong eye on the Tumut River situation, in regards to making airspaces at Blowering. The river at Tumut had a below minor flood risk Monday morning.

Burrinjuck is estimated to be spilling at five gigalitres per day and Water NSW will continue to look at creating more airspace for the dam later on Monday, although no formal decision has yet been made.

The dam is continuing to release eight gigalitres of outflow per day, as it was on Sunday afternoon.

But water levels for the Murrumbidgee River at Wagga are beginning to steadily rise, after decreasing to a low of 3.67 metres on Sunday.

The level had risen to 3.88 metres at 10.30am Monday, with it also classed as a below minor risk of flooding.
