A man who was allegedly glassed during a brawl at a Riverina club has been fined after police discovered during their investigations that he should have been isolating.

According to police, two men became involved in a fight at a licensed premises on Griffith's Jondaryan Avenue around 7.40pm on Saturday.
It is alleged a 71-year-old man punched a 30-year-old man, who allegedly returned serve and hit the older man over the head with a glass bottle.
He was taken to Griffith Base Hospital to be treated for a laceration to his head.

The 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and after being taken to Griffith police station was charged with reckless wounding.
He will face Griffith Local Court on Wednesday, August 25 after being granted conditional bail.
The older man is also facing a fine, as police discovered he was acting against public health orders after visiting Sydney on Friday.
"Police established the older man is a truck driver who attended Sydney on Friday and should be isolating at home," police said in a statement.
He has been issued a penalty infringement notice for failing to comply with noticed direction.
