The new executive was elected recently during a crisis annual general meeting for JumpStart, which did have a motion on the books for the group to go into recess.
However, following an earlier public meeting, residents have put their heads together and found away to keep the group going.
Among those helping to do so is the new executive consisting of Grace Capaldi as president, Amy Salmon as secretary and Rachel Cody as treasurer.
There's plenty of hard work ahead for the committee and its volunteers, but the future is looking bright according to Ms Capaldi.

"Raising funds is definitely the next step for us," she said.
"You need to get funds in the kitty because it is very empty at the moment.
"We know with COVID it has been hard, but we've got to get back out there again."
For nearly 20 years, the organisation has helped many Leeton shire residents in times of urgent need.
JumpStart was set up in 2003 to assist citizens in situations of emergency when accidents, sudden illness or any unforeseen circumstances have caused hardship in their financial situation.
Born out of two separate money-raising campaigns for people suffering serious illnesses, JumpStart has since provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for Leeton people.
The fund was financed by the efforts of a fundraising group and has been administered by an assessment committee. This practice was to ensure those who raised the money had no part in the disbursement of the money in order to keep the charity as fair as possible to those making requests.

"We'll be hashing out ideas and trying to implement these while we have this momentum going," Ms Capaldi said.
"We need to get the whole community involved again."
Sustainability for JumpStart is also a big focus moving forward, according to vice president Sue Gavel.
"We have to put proper processes and policies in place," she said.
"Even going out and sourcing grant funding for something like a co-ordinator or part-time co-ordinator for the group so it's not such a such a burden for the committee."
Committee members are always welcome to be part of the process, with the "many hands make light work" saying certainly key in raising money.
Residents can also find out more information about the organisation by searching Leeton JumpStart Fund on Facebook and joining the group.
