The Yenda based operation secured the Cabernet Sauvignon of the Year for their 2018 Casella Family Wines 1919 Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra Wine of the Year for their 2016 Brand's Laira One Seven One Cabernet Sauvignon and Barossa Valley Wine of the Year for their 2019 Peter Lehmann Wines Portrait Cabernet Sauvignon.
Casella Family brands said the wins were a 'fantastic achievement for a local winery at such an internationally acclaimed wine show.'

"Our winemaking teams are honoured to have received some incredible results and this year's China Wine and Spirits Awards," David Joeky, Head Senior Winemaker at Casella Family Brands said.
The company has made other major strides this year, introducing a new single malt whisky to its offerings which was recognised at the awards.
"We were also particularly delighted to have been awarded three gold medals for our Morris Australian Single Malt Whisky," Mr Joeky said.
This year, Casella Family Brands will also sponsor a $30,000 scholarship for a Charles Sturt University winemaking student and took the top score at the 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards where they received the most points for any Australian wine submitted.
