This week we bring to you some images from the pages of The Irrigator from August 2013.
There was certainly plenty happening at this time - a time where "restrictions", "COVID-19" and "lockdowns" weren't even words spoken regularly or at all.
Being that it was August, there was plenty happening on the winter sporting front, especially for the shire's junior sporting teams both of a weekend and during school days.
There was also campaigning happening at this time for the upcoming federal election.
In 2013, Leeton was still part of the federal seat of Riverina.
In 2021, Leeton shire sits in the Farrer seat, which is currently held by Sussan Ley.
Book Week was also taking place, a tradition that continues to this day.
Find out what else was happening by having a flick through the gallery and see how many familiar faces you can spot.
