A LEETON woman has been charged after allegedly arming herself with a baseball bat and smashing a window of a vehicle over the weekend.

Police said the 34-year-old woman went to a home in Canal Street, alleging she was armed with a baseball bat and smashed a window of a vehicle parked at the property.
It is further alleged the woman also threatened the occupants of the home with the baseball bat.

Officers said those involved were known to each other.
Police were called and arrested the woman, who was charged with malicious damage, intimidation and armed with intent.
The woman is due to face Leeton Local Court on September 21.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old female has been charged by Leeton police following an alleged assault at a licensed venue on the weekend.
Police said the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Pine Avenue around 10.55pm on Saturday, September 11.
It is alleged the 27-year-old female threw a glass at a 21-year-old woman inside the venue.
Leeton police confirmed the pair were known to each other.
The 27-year-old woman was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and will appear in Leeton Local Court on September 21.
Police weren't called to the venue at the time, but the victim did report the incident to officers the following morning. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident should contact police.
