It was a strong season for the Griffith Swans, who found themselves sitting second and looking like they would make a charge come finals time before the season was ended early.
For the Crows, it was a season that started out well, but it was a struggle to find consistency as the season wore on.
Here is the MIA All-Stars team as selected by MIA sports journalist Liam Warren.
Goal Keeper
Taya Panuccio (Leeton-Whitton)
Panuccio was a consistent down back for the Crows this season. She was one of the high of the polling players this season for her side. She made the switch to a regular position in the backline this season, having played most of last season at the attacking end.
Goal Defence
Noa Taipaleti (Griffith)
What an impact Taipaleti made in her first season of A grade. She was a worthy nominee for the rising star award and picked up a number of best on courts in the A grade best, and fairest. She isn't afraid to put her body on the line and one of the reasons the Swans finished in second was off the hard work from Taipaleti in defence.
Wing Defence
Jenna McCallum (Leeton-Whitton)
While it was a tough first season as coach for McCallum, she still managed to have an impact on court. She showed her good array of passing. She works her heart out all game, whether it is getting her side moving forward or trying to get back in defence.
Centre
Jessica Conlan (Griffith)
It is clear to see why Conlan has been selected in-state representative sides. Conlan missed the opening games of the season but had an impact once she returned in the later stages of the season. She is an absolute pocket rocket with plenty of energy, and her ability to read the play and pull off an intercept or block a pass is almost unmatched.
Wing Attack
Georgia Fuller (Griffith) - coach
What a season for Fuller in charge of the Swans. Started the week picking up the RFNL netball coach of the season and then ended the week as the A grade, best and fairest, and it's clear to see why. Fuller is never far from the contest, and her array of passing can have her side going from defence to attack in an instance.
Goal Attack
Jenna Richards (Griffith)
Richards continues to go from strength to strength in the A grade competition. In her third full season with the Swans in the top grade, she played a large role in the Griffith side finishing the season in second. Her shooting accuracy is among the best in the competition.
Goal Shooter
Grace Korovata (Leeton-Whitton)
Korovata was a key member of the Crows side who made a really strong start to the season and was in the top five of the best and fairest count in the early stages. Like Richards, she is not afraid to put her body on the line, and her accuracy means she can land a goal from anywhere in the arch.

Bench
Keira McCallum (Leeton-Whitton)
A handy addition in an attacking aspect. Has an accurate shot, and her passing means she can play outside the arch as well as either a wing or goal attack.
Mikayla Jones (Leeton-Whitton)
A great option in the middle of the court. She has proven a great asset for the Crows across the middle of the court with a good array of passing and a high work rate.
Noel Barone (Griffith)
Has grown in defence again this year for the Swans. Her partnership with Taipaleti is the backbone of the Swans successful defence and their charge up the ladder.
Milla Parr (Griffith)
Another of the youngsters who have shone for the Swans this season. Her work rate across the middle of the court and the combination with Fuller get the Swans moving quickly.
