A WOMAN was lucky to escape serious injury after the vehicle she was driving flipped and ended up on its roof over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle accident on Lilac Avenue in Leeton on 8.10pm on Sunday night.
Police said it appeared the 42-year-old driver of the vehicle had lost control of the vehicle, but at this stage they were still investigating how and why the accident occurred.
What they do know is the vehicle hit a gutter, resulting in the car being flipped upside down.
A number of witnesses were able to assist the driver, who suffered only minor injuries.
Further investigations are being conducted by police into the matter.
Police seek witnesses after Murrami crash
LEETON police are investigating what they believe to be a single vehicle accident at Murrami on Monday.
Police said the accident occurred on Malcolm Road sometime between 2.30pm and 6pm on Monday where a blue Chrysler people mover appeared to have left the roadway and hit a tree.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene and the accident was not reported to police.

Acting Inspector for Leeton Detective Sergeant Tim Clark said police were notified later in the day of the accident.
"Police are now making inquiries with the owner of the vehicle in relation to the driver and the accident," he said.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or may have information should contact police."
