The Leeton Showgirl competition will be held on Saturday with four young ladies taking part in 2021.
While there is no Leeton Show this year, the competition is able to go on while still adhering to the restrictions in place.
With that in mind, The Irrigator has caught up with the entrants of this year's Leeton Showgirl competition.
Isabel Ryan and Sophie Litchfield are up first, with Shelby Tiffen and Eilish Morden to be featured in the coming days.

How long have you lived in Leeton for?
I have lived in Leeton my whole life. I was born at the Leeton hospital on Father's Day 2002 and have lived in Leeton ever since.
Why did you decide to enter the Leeton showgirl competition?
I used to compete in the minis side of it then I was younger, even though I didn't quite get what it meant then I used to love the idea of dressing up and prancing around the stage.
I also recently entered the Miss Teen Showgirl competition in 2019 beside my best friends and ended up winning.
I chose to do it then because my friends asked me to do it with them and I thought it would be something fun to do.
Afterwards I found out less and less people are entering in it every year and I said that I would enter Leeton Showgirl competition next year as I was old enough because the thought of it "dying out" seemed sad as this is usually a big thing for our town.
What are you hoping to learn or gain by being part of the initiative?
I hope to learn more about the competing and possibly running the showgirl competition someday, taking the initiative of getting other to be part of the showgirl experience and make more friends through this.
What are some of your interests or hobbies?
My main interest/hobby is photography and I have always had a thing for it ever since I was little.
