Earlier this year Leeton Shire Council had said the first phase of the redevelopment work was due to start in March.
However, this was then pushed back while a final timeline for the project was worked on.
Then, of course, lockdown measures were implemented not just in Leeton shire, but across the state.

However, council said it was committed to moving the redevelopment ahead.
Council's group manager of operations Tom Steele said several processes were currently being ticked off behind-the-scenes.
"Council is currently completing design work on the electrical design," he said.
"Once completed the design phase will end and council will prepare to go to tender for the project.
"The tender will be available on council's Tenderlink and VendorPanel platforms.
"We anticipate this next phase will take place during November and December this year."
