35 full teams entered this year's event in what looks likely as the biggest to date.
Round one always brings a few Hot Scores and last week was no different.
As an added bonus the year the Player of the Round not only wins the Superwash Carwash token but also a pizza and garlic bread from Frankies Pizza at the Hydro.
You can't lose, a clean car and pizza on Friday night has you rolling into the weekend with a smile.
Round one's Player of the Week is Callum Dunn lighting up the course with 9-under 27 nett.
Dunnzo just got the victory by one shot as Joey Tripodi, Braiden Hogan-O'Brien, Blake McDonald and young Sam Pirrottina all had 28s.
Wes Henderson in his first season was the other player to break the 30 nett mark with a 29.
Other players to shine were Tony Nasr, Dionne Wornes, Will Aliendi,Johnny Russell, Brad Barker and Josh Fisher all on 30.
Keith Fletcher, Warren Belford, Paul Burley, Tyler O'Connell, Adrui Tagila and Isaac Houghton all on 31. A host of players finished on 32 nett and the ball competition cut off was 33.

Team standings has new outfit the Fade Aways in front with 23-under par 157 total, a huge handicap reduction will follow such brilliance and that goes for a lot of teams who smashed the team Par score in week one.
Junior teams Tigers Wood and Mims Minions flew out of the gates to be in second and third respectively followed by regulars Swig n Swing.
22 teams had scores under 180 nett and amazingly champions of the past two seasons The Whymees are languishing in third-last.
A couple of reminders for this week include our liquor licence which is available on Friday and Saturday and the last two rounds of the Club Championships are being complete this Saturday and Sunday.
Twilighters are reminded to avoid between 9am-12.30pm on these days with rounds before and after this timeframe welcome.
Also remember to check in to the Club upon arrival and registration are due $15 per players.
