The "True Blue" team, made up of Vicky Ryan and her daughter Jessica Looby are organising the True Blue Dice Run, raising money to participate in the Riverina Redneck Rally later next year.
The rally raises a huge amount of money for Country Hope, which provides crucial support services to children and families suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The Dice Run was originally planned for late June but was delayed due to COVID restrictions.
Now planned for October 24, it will take off from Leeton and travel 200 kilometres on a round trip to end at De Bortoli Wines.
Ms Ryan explained how she and her husband got motivated to participate.
"I've been a part of it for the last few years, since 2018, but we started raising money for the next one towards the end of April and we go through to March next year," she said.
"We actually started off as a support vehicle, we just went along with them with a car trailer and helped cars change tires. I got a bit bored of that and wanted to get involved with the real stuff."

They purchased a panel van, named it 'True Blue' and began participating as entrants. This is the second year that their daughter Jessica has participated as well.
Now that she's running her own "pre-rally", Ms Ryan explained that rather than the five-day trek that comprises the Riverina Redneck Rally, it would be more akin to a pleasant Sunday out.
"The destination is a surprise at the moment, we'll all gather in Leeton at the carpark near the TAFE. Every entry that pays to be a part of it will roll two die, and each stop we go to, we tally up those die numbers. The person at the end of the day with the highest points wins a prize!"
She added that they've received a good amount of interest so far, but were keen to get more participants. Entries into the day cost $20, more information is available on her facebook page.
