The car insurance company has provided vital new funding to assist the branches in financially supporting cancer patients as they travel to and from treatments.
President of Can Assist Narrandera, Neta Close said having the support provided by Greenslips was 'invaluable', especially to those living in the Riverina.
"Local cancer patients travel long distances - to Wagga, Griffith, Albury and sometimes Sydney for treatment," Mrs Close said.
"That's why having the choice and flexibility of your own car is so important.
It gives a greater sense of independence."

Can Assist Leeton President Mary Dodd said that such a donation would help 'enormously' as often public transport was not available to cancer sufferers and their families depending on their location.
" A car is essential; some travel 3.5 hours a day for treatment - and that can go on every day for six weeks," Mrs Dodd said.
Can Assist Leeton, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year is the 30th branch in NSW to have received funding from Greenslips.
And with 377 clients currently on the books, the support is a huge shot in the arm at a time.
"To put it in perspective, each month or pharmaceutical bills are $1,000, while our fuel can be $1,200 a month," Mrs Dodd said.
"Our support takes a huge burden off local cancer patients, especially if they don't have the funds to deal with their commitments."
