Installation of a weatherproof Community Notice Board at the Post Office has finally been completed. This project was funded by a Leeton Shire Council community strengthening grant and a Select Harvests community grant.

The Old Girl Rally Team is another Whitton participant in the Riverina Redneck Rally which raises money for Country Hope. The team consisting of Lachlan and Clare, recently held a Camp Oven Cook Off at the Rice Bowl Hotel, adding $800 to their kitty.
The day included the cook off, blind judging, 100 Club draw, a meal, and live music to finish off the day.
The 2021 Champion is Kylie with her Coca-Cola Meat balls entry. They now have a Christmas Stocking raffle going.
This will be drawn at the Pub Christmas party on December 18. Tickets available through the pub.
The Whitton Bowling and Recreation Club enjoyed a pleasant day for their Cox Plate Fashions on the Field event. Held outside under a decorated marquee, participants enjoyed lunch and a raffle after the judging of the fashions.
The school held a dress up as a book character day on Thursday 11. This was part of the two week Book Fair currently running. The students also got to dress up for the Melbourne Cup. The teachers meanwhile enjoyed a morning tea on World Teachers Day.
A pop-up first jab, walk in Vaccination clinic was held at the Hall last Thursday. This will be followed by a second jab clinic on Thursday November 25.
Whitton Swimming Pool is open for the 2021/22 swimming season.
