A highlight on the annual community calender, the event was cancelled in 2020 due to ongoing coronavirus concerns.
As recently as October, the Light Up Leeton Committee told The Irrigator that the Christmas concert would not be going ahead at all, however with a relaxation of rules surrounding COVID-19 restrictions, the Committee is forging ahead with a Christmas Fair on December 5th at Mountford Park.
According to Leeton Shire Council Events Officer Fran Macdonald, the fair will see a number of local vendors offering everything from meat and gravy rolls and stuffed potatoes to popcorn, fairy floss and lucky dips.
The Rotary Club of Leeton will also be hosting their Christmas Ham Carnival and the Lions Train and Merry-go Round rides will be running.
"The public is invited to come down, bring a picnic blanket, sample the wares of the stallholders and enjoy a casual evening soaking up the festive atmosphere," Ms Macdonald said.

In place of the usual concert, performers John Martin, Nicole Onwuekue and Rebecca Van-Den-Heuvel will take to the stage to provide some light entertainment and ambiance to the evening.
The annual Christmas Light competition is also still going ahead but with a difference.
With $1500 in Leeton gift cards up for grabs, the number of categories has been widened with prizes for best window display, best roof, best front door and best garden as well as best overall display.
There are also prizes for the Best Business Display, sponsored by the Leeton Business Chamber.
Light Up Leeton Committee Chairwoman Robyn Retallick said it was easier than ever before to get involved with the festive fun.
"We have made it really easy for people to get involved and light up their houses or parts of their houses with an expanded offering of competition categories," Mrs Retallick said.
"You don't have to go all out with lots of lights and a flashy display to win a prize.
"We just wanted to share the Christmas spirit with Leeton, I look forward to seeing the community out and about enjoy the festivities together."
Light Up Leeton is free to attend however the community is reminded that to comply with COVID regulations, the event area for the Christmas Fair in the park will be enclosed and all patrons will need to check-in and show proof of vaccination on entry.
