An example of this, Mrs Bowles suggests is the Fivebough and Tuckerbil Wetlands.
"We have an opportunity to attract visitors to see the birds at the wetlands, we even used to have a bird fair which was a first in Australia that I would like to bring back," Mrs Bowles said.
"I also see potential for visitors to come see our farms first hand as well, we need to take advantage of this increase in domestic tourism.
"I would like to ensure that when Leeton opens up again after COVID-19, we are ready to meet new opportunities."
Mrs Bowles also noted that she was wanting to give every resident of the Leeton Shire a 'fair go' and would support the continued maintenance of council services for all residents.
"I am very interested in providing everyone the same access to council services and facilities," Mrs Bowles said.
"I would especially like to see improvements made to the golf course estate which I feel has missed out in recent years."
According to Mrs Bowles, any vote for her would not be wasted.
"I understand the needs of the community, I am giving the voters the choice of another view," Mrs Bowles said.
