Eighteen players on the day allowed for three games of triples.
Elaine Sullivan, who scored a resting toucher with her first bowl of the day, Mary Patten and Diane Colyer were defeated by Joan Lloyd, Faye Harris and Jan Fitzpatrick.
Jan Walker, Heather Hoad and Joan Bourke were victorious after winning nine of the 14 ends played against Hilary Chambers, Jean Leighton and Marika Pete.
Patti Wakeman, Denise Naylor and Linda Barnes defeated Dot Semmler, Lorraine Messner and Jan Carroll.
Semmler's team, after giving away six shots on the fourth end, were unable to catch up, losing the game by four.

Social bowls is preparing to finish up for the year.
It has been another big year for the club and their players.
It started off well with the hot weather and a solid return to play following on from the 2020 COVID-19 restrictions.
All was going well until lockdown measures were enforced once again in August, but members and players have rebounded to make sure they can close the year out with fun and success.
The L&D will hold their annual Christmas and presentation day on December 16.
Opening day for 2022 will be on January 20 and the next meeting for the club will be held January 27.
