Hosted by the Leeton Yanco Swimming Club, the carnival will not just have solid representation from its own talent with 34 participants from the shire putting their hand up, but also swimmers from across the region.
All up 112 swimmers have registered to take part at the event, which will be held at the Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre on Saturday.
Club publicity officer Ondria Miller said it was all systems go for the event.
"We had plenty of swimmers representing the club at the Griffith event last weekend, with lots of really great results," she said.
"Swimming NSW rules apply for these carnivals.
"This weekend we will have everything from 25-metre races to 100-metre events.
"Age groups range from under sevens through to opens.
"We're really looking forward to it."
With the Leeton pool now open for the season following a delay after a crack was found in one of its pipes, swimmers have been putting in the hard yards during training sessions each week.
Not only are they preparing for this weeks carnival, but a full program of summer racing.
"The club has training available for seniors and juniors four mornings a week and four afternoons a week as well," Miller said.
"Then we have time trials on a Friday night.

"We have a great facility here. We're expecting some really great results across the board."
Swimmers have plenty coming up straight after the Christmas break, including the Country Regionals in Griffith in January. With all eyes on this weekend's carnival, Miller said the Leeton Yanco Swimming Club would be competitive in the pool.
"We've got everything from a young six-year-old who is having her first season right through to swimmers who jumped in last weekend in Griffith to achieve personal bests and there were some medalists too," she said.
The carnival kicks off on Saturday with warms up at 9am, with the meeting to start at 10am.
