The classic vehicle was stolen on April 30, with police making several arrests in August and September relating to the crime.
This theft and its associated arrests and investigations have led to more people being charged for another matter that police believe is linked to the stolen Torana.
"As part of ongoing investigations into this, police were also investigating an attempted theft of a GTHO Ford Falcon, valued at $200,000 from an address in Leeton," Murrumbidgee Police District Inspector Justin Cornes said.
"This attempted theft took place two weeks prior (to the Torana being stolen).
"We believe the two incidents are linked."
As part of that ongoing investigation, police last week charged a 49-year-old man and a 24-year-old with the attempted theft of the Ford Falcon and also the alleged theft of a number of other items from that property in Leeton.
These items included a Kawasaki motorcycle, chainsaws and generators all allegedly taken at the time.
Both men were charged and had their bail refused.
"We expect to make further arrests in relation to the two incidents," Inspector Cornes said.
The Torana remains missing and is yet to be located.
