Hams are a key part of Christmas for many Australians and it’s no different in Leeton.
Families will have the chance to win a ham during the annual Leeton Rotary Club Ham raffle which starts a 4pm and runs til 6pm.
This raffle kicks off Light Up Leeton and will see almost 100 hams raffled to lucky winners.
“The Rotary Club has worked in conjunction with the Light Up Leeton committee for many, many years to create a family friendly day to start Christmas celebrations in Leeton,” Light Up Leeton Committee chairman Carl King said.

While trying to win a ham, be sure to check the various stalls and enjoy the local entertainment in the park.
With an increased interest in the stalls and activities in the park improvements have been made on last year.
The large variety of stalls will cater for the whole family with the Lion’s Train, face painting, merry-go-round, sample bags, jumping castle, lucky dips and much, much more.
There will also be plenty to eat and lots of entertainment including the Community Concert which will kick off at 6pm.
All stalls at the Carnival are operated by not-for-profit local community groups and Service Clubs so you can enjoy your evening knowing that all money raised goes directly back into the community.
