Many residents turned out for the event, with spatterings of green and red seen throughout the crowd as young and old got into the festive spirit.
This year's carols were organised by the Leeton Community Church as part of the Leeton Ministers Fraternal.
Pastor Jacob Muthsam said the event was a good way to welcome the countdown to Christmas and its true meaning.
"It went really well," he said.
"The rain held out, but it was quite cold and windy, so we were really pleased that a lot of people
toughed it out and stayed.
"We had school groups and choirs from all the churches taking part, which was really impressive.
"It was a full schedule of performances."
Mr Muthsam said the Carols in the Park tradition would continue next year.
"There's so many other events like Light Up Leeton and things, so it's really great that they are all supported so well," he said.
"That's a really good thing for a town like Leeton.
"We'd like to thank everyone that came along and those that performed or helped out on the night."
