LSC Colts made short work of L&D CC when they met at Yanco Sportsground on Saturday.
The Colts eased to an eight-wicket win after restricting the Ferrets to a total of 82.
Having missed the opening round of the season, new recruit Mark Burns dominated for his new team as he took four wickets and top-scored with an unbeaten 45.
For L&D, Kieren O'Callaghan was a shining light, opening the batting and holding his own with 26 runs.
However, wickets fell all around him and Antony Tocin (18no) and Mitch Hutchings (12) were the only other batsmen to make double figures.
Burns finished the innings with 4-22, his opening partner Josh Carn took 2-14, Jarryd Day claimed 3-8 off 5.1 overs and Sam Cooper rounded out the wicket-takers with 1-10.
The double O'Callaghan opening partnership for the Colts did not fire as well as hoped with Matthew caught by Reece Maguire off Hutchings (1-22) for seven and Lachlan scoring three before being trapped lbw by Ben Elwin (1-6).
That was where the joy ended for L&D as Burns (45no) and Nathan Carn (22no) plundered the attack and got their side over the line in just the 14th over.
