The event will be held on Saturday night and will honour the best of the best across various categories.
Leeton Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Maryann Vitelli and her committee spent this week putting place the final touches for the awards.
“Everything is ready to go … all the preparations have been going very smoothly,” Miss Vitelli said.
“We’re looking forward to a great night.
“There has been good feedback from our nominees about their submission process for judging this year.
“They thought it was easier this year.
“It was done online, so what that means is if they win here then their submission is already done for the next level of the competition.
“The NSW Chamber has been fantastic in helping us this year.”
Eligible winners on the night will be invited to take part in the regional component of the NSW Chamber awards system. The response this year to the nomination process was a big one, with more than 100 businesses nominated, some more than once.
Independent judges have determined the winners in each category.
“I believe all but one of our judges will be there on the night as guests of the chamber,” Miss Vitelli said.
“This year they came from Sydney, Melbourne and Wagga. They have given me some great feedback already, saying it wasn’t an easy job for them.
“They were impressed the quality of the nominees, which is good to here.”
The awards will involve pre-dinner drinks and nibbles, a two-course meal and entertainment.
Miss Vitelli said the format for the night would be relaxed.
“We want everyone to come and enjoy the night … it’s a social occasion,” she said.
“The aim is to get the official part done so businesses can enjoy the night with each other. We’ve received feedback already that people are happier it’s on a Saturday night this year instead of the Friday.”
Doors open at 6pm at the Leeton Soldiers Club.
