Members held a street stall, with community members popping by throughout the morning to buy some of the sweets and treats on offer.
The event was declared a success, with residents again thanked for their generous support.
Inner Wheel is an international organisation closely linked to Rotary that was founded to unite wives and daughters of Rotarians.
Before 1989, Rotary generally prohibited women as members.
Inner Wheel was established for the wives and daughters of Rotarians in 1924.
Women now are able to join Rotary, but Inner Wheel Clubs continue in over 103 countries.
The International Inner Wheel objectives are to promote true friendship, encourage the ideals of personal service and foster international understanding.
Women do not have to be linked to Rotarians to join Inner Wheel anymore.
The Leeton organisation is always looking for new members and would welcome fresh faces to be part of the group.
For many years Leeton’s Inner Wheel has been a vital part of the community. Each year it raises funds for cord blood research, as well as distributing money to various other community organisations and charities at its annual changeover dinner.
