Purple power again shone through last Saturday when the Dianas easily accounted for the Tumut Bulls, 30-0.
Leeton scored in the opening minutes, setting the tone for the rest of the match.
The Dianas tight defence ensured Tumut weren’t able to trouble the score board.
Coach Sam Loaloadravu was impressed with their effort.
“I thought they played a great game,” he said.
“They have been such a good team all year, so it was very rewarding for them to win and stay undefeated heading in to the finals.”
As a result of finishing top-of-the-table, the Dianas have this weekend off before returning to the field for their first final next weekend.
Loaloadravu said they would be fully prepared and ready to go for that game.
“I think the girls are all just keen to get out there and play finals,” he said.
“This is what they work so hard for all year.
“They definitely deserve to do well and I know they can. It’s been great to coach them.”
With a light session this week, the Dianas will resume their usual training schedule next week. They will be out to retain the premiership after winning the title last year.
