Yanco CC won the toss and took to the pitch first in the first game of the season.
Steve Hottes (32), Jordan Camm (33) led the team, followed closely by Kyle Pete (16) and Brenton Turner (11*).
Yanco CC finished the innings with 109 runs in 29.4 overs.
The Colts batsmen were led by strong efforts from Billy Conroy (25), Alex Crelley (12) and Isaac Collins (13).
Those efforts were off-set by a mediocre showing of the remaining batsmen.
Yanco CC’s bowling power was clearly demonstrated in Craig Sharp, Glenn Vitnell and Dan Mecham’s being held scoreless.
Camm (5), who was a powerhouse with the bat continued to push hard for Yanco CC as he took five for eight and was a key factor in holding the Colts down.
