Raising funds for Yanco Public School, the Yanco Lions were all too pleased to contribute to children’s education.
Yanco Public School principal Tim Allen discussed how important the funds raised are to the small school.
At presentation night, every student gets a book, that’s due to what the Lions Club does for us.

“We use the contribution to buy every student a book at the end of the year,” Mr Allen said.
“At presentation night, every student gets a book, that’s due to what the Lions Club does for us.
“The Lions Club have been a brilliant community organization who’ve supported the school for a long time.”
Lions Club member Sue Parker expected to raffle off 15 hams and was pleased to be able to donate all proceeds from the evening to help benefit Yanco Public School.
“It benefits the school, local businesses and the whole community,” Mrs Parker said.
While the donation may appear small, the impact on the community is huge, showing a little bit can go a very long way.
