The school’s boys and girls teams took part in the competition last week.
The boys were able to secure the inaugural title for the school, while the girls also came close to making it a double reason to celebrate.
In round one, the boys met a determined Small Schools outfit, but despite the lop-sided scoreline, PPS encountered strong resistance from their opponents.
For Parkview Jaxon Ryan (28) and Blake Ryan (16) led all scorers, while Bryce Robinson, Kobe O'Callaghan and Mason Boardman proved a handful for the opposition all over the court to give their team an 86-2 victory.
They met Narrandera in the grand final match, which was hard-fought throughout its entirety.
Good scoring conversions from Parkview and dominance on the offensive boards proved the difference, with PPS taking their inaugural title 41-22.
Jaxon Ryan was again dominant on the score sheet with 21 points, while the fleet-footed small brigade of Tallis McMillan, James Rourke, Cody Browne and Thomas Heins proved too much for the Narrandera defence to combat.
Parkview now progress to the Riverina quarter finals to be played later in the term.
The school’s girls side were also dominant and only went down by a small margin in the final.
In their firs game they easily accounted for the Small Schools side to win 84-4.
There was some top team play from Moe Lloyd, Shaylan Protheroe, Amelia Irvin and Dakota Boardman.
In the grand final the girls came up against a tall and talented Narrandera outfit.
Parkview failed to convert early possession dominance into points, which ultimately led to defeat.
A narrow two-point quarter-time lead for Parkview evaporated early in the second term as they trailed by six points at half-time and eight points at three quarter time.
The side eventually went down 26-19.
Following the finals, PPS had eight students announced in the representative teams to contest the Riverina championships on May 8.
They were Madeline Irvin, Tatum Marks, Tamika Rourke, Shaylan Protheroe, Jaxon Ryan, Blake Ryan, Tallis McMillan and Cody Browne.
