The Crows made it four wins on the trot as they cast aside a determined Coolamon, 10.12 (72) to 7.10 (52) at Leeton Showground.
Leeton-Whitton booted five goals to one in the second term to open up a 21-point lead in what was otherwise a very even contest.
Leeton-Whitton captain-coach Jade Hodge gave credit to Coolamon for making his team work extremely hard for the four points.
“They were impressive and will push a few sides this year,” Hodge said.
“We were up and down and it was a really hard-fought win. T
“To their credit they made it hard for us all day and I was pretty impressed with them to be honest.
“It was pretty contested and it pretty tough but you need to win them sometimes.”
Crows midfielder Toby Conroy was best-on-ground, while Hodge at centre-half-forward played his best game for the year.
Will Wakeman did a good job on Coolamon excitement machine Roy Kantilla, while Hugh Collins played another good game.
Joe and Luke Redfern were good for Coolamon, as was Ben Edyvean and Marshal Macauley.
Hodge said there was still plenty of room for improvement with his team.
“Our ball use wasn’t great. Moving it into our forward line we turned it over a lot,” he said.
“We looked good in patches, but we looked ordinary in patches as well.
“I was pretty happy to get the win. It’s not perfect yet but it’s all coming together slowly.”
