Those responsible damaged soccer goal posts and nets owned by the Leeton United Football Club, which are used for the shire’s youngsters during town soccer matches each Saturday.
The club took to Facebook on Saturday to express its dismay and annoyance at the incident.
“Once again we find that we are left to repair our goals for junior soccer due to children that have no respect for others or other people's property,” the post by club president Rod Harrison read.
“You have been seen we know who you are and so do the police.”
The incident came as another resident took to the social media page I Live in Leeton to warn residents of youth in the vicinity of the Leeton Soldiers Club area, which is near the town ovals, supposedly attempting to break into cars.
Those incidents were also reported to police.
