The Yanco Agricultural High School P&C is bringing the Wild Wacky Wonderful Women team to town for a “super fundraising event”.
The “wild and wacky’s”, as they are known, will be presenting a fun and light-hearted look at how to simplify one’s life during a one-day workshop for women of all ages.
Wild Wacky Wonderful Women co-founder Dr Natalie Shepard said in today’s fast-paced world, learning to live an easier life was essential to being happier and healthier.
“(This means) less stress and giving you back more time for the things that matter most to you,” she said.
“The ‘wild and wacky’s’ are looking forward to being in Yanco and helping raise funds for the P&C.”
Every year the school hosts a massive gala day as the major fundraiser for the P&C.
Next year’s gala day co-ordinator Bronwyn Thomas was excited about having the opportunity to host the workshop.
“Sandra and Natalie are dynamic facilitators and their enthusiasm for life is contagious,” she said.
“Participants attending will be engaged, enlightened and enthralled by the content of the workshop.
“Yanco Ag’s major fundraiser is each year is gala day where the focus is holding a community event to raises funds for the P&C.
“However, we are missing a coffee machine.”
It is envisaged funds raised from the upcoming workshop will help with the purchase of coffee machine, which could be then utilized at other community events and hired out to other not-for-profit organisations in the area.
The workshop is open to all women.
“It is a day of both personal and professional development, where women will leave feeling more empowered and confident, with a fresh approach to getting things done, achieving their goals, with less stress and giving them more time,” Dr Shepard said.
The event will be held on September 9 at McCaughey House at Yanco Agricultural High School from 9am to 3pm.
Cost is $30 per person, which includes morning tea and lunch.
