The team, featuring CSU’s Claudia Obst and Leeton pair Ua Ravu and Cecilia Smith, lost 24-7 to Queensland Red in the semi-finals before going suffering a loss to Queensland White 24-0 in the battle for third.
The men’s team, with two Leeton players, Simon Vunilagi and Emori Vulagi involved, didn’t fair as well.
They finished in sixth placing after falling to NSW 21-10 in the final game over the weekend.
Both teams were on seven points after the first rounds of games on Saturday.
The women’s team wins over the National Indigenous side and Tasmania but suffered a heavy loss to eventual winners NSW Blue.
The men’s team had a 12-5 win over Western Australia before a 12-5 loss to the Australian Defence Force and a big win over Northern Territory.
