Students from kindergarten to year two ventured off to nearby Grong Grong on Monday morning where they checked out the town’s earth park, enjoying the mud pie station, racing car track and community garden.
Next on the agenda was the Narrandera Fisheries were students enjoyed getting up close with turtles and fish.
In keeping with the theme of the day, the third pit stop was at the Narrandera Wetlands and koala reserve where to of the furry animals were spotted.
Free time at the Marie Bashir Park was the final adventure of the day.
It was a great day and everyone enjoyed getting out of the classroom,” principal Tarnya Grigg said.
“It was great to see the Grong Grong Earth Park to help get some inspiration for our own school vegie patch.”
