Welcome to all the year 6 students who visited us last Tuesday for our year 7 2018 orientation day. Over 90 students will attend Leeton High School for this exciting event. Year 6 students got a taste of high school life, found their way around our school and meet their teachers while also getting to meet their future classmates. Current students and staff were really excited to welcome all our new students.

AT LAST Tuesday’s assembly, our WIN Program students were acknowledged for their many achievements in the workplace. Congratulations to all our year 10 students who have completed the WIN program and a huge thank you to all our local employers who have given our students this opportunity. Clearly, they did not disappoint and many of our WIN students have gone on to find a school based traineeship, apprenticeship or employment as a result of this experience. We are really grateful for the community support we have received as a result of this outstanding school initiative and very proud of our student’s achievements in the workplace. Also, thank you to Miss Becker, Mrs Speer and Mr Turner for their tireless efforts in working with local businesses to ensure that this amazing opportunity continues to be available to year 10 students.
