Round 10 saw 219 starters take place with Dirty Sanchez’s Brett McWhinney the player of the week with a corking 27 nett.
Talk about comeback, the lad is lucky to still be here after he hurt himself toiling down at work.
He took his half dozen Carlton Dry Silver bullets to the course last Friday with a new born attitude as he blundered that Top Flite No 4 time after time straight down the hi-diddle-diddle.
John Hindmarsh and Jason Curry were other worthy mentions for the week with 31s where the ball comp got out to 35 for the first time this season. Crikey!
The course bloody greens up after all that rain and there’s no run out there so the scores go up, up and up.
Teams who went north for the round were the Whymees on 171, Bald Eagles on 173 and Murrami Magic and Ken Slice on fiveunder 175s.
Overall standings have Balls Deep six clear atop from new side The Insiders, who refuse to go away.
The Golfing Gods and Ken Slice are also both doing well in their inaugural seasons.
The course is open for twilight golf as per normal this week with players reminded to Slip, Slop, Slap and stay hydrated whilst out on course.
