With Leeton’s extended holiday round finally drawing to a close on Sunday, some massive moves were made by teams clearly trying to solidify their spots and guarantee a finals invite. Five teams cracked the 170 mark, causing some massive change ups in the leaderboard. Team of the week honours were halved as both the Crowaholics and the Screaming Eagles had a whopping 20-under par, coming in with a nett 160 for the week. Half of all teams had at least one person with a 33 net or better, with a collection of players coming in with a 32 nett including Garry Wilesmith, Tim Rolls, “Wild Bill” Wakeman, Jonathon Hannan, Ray “Sparrow” Marks, Andrew Day, Julian Werner and Blake Spowart. Don’t forget the Australia Day 3 Person Ambrose from 8-11.30am. Cost: $25 per player, $20 for juniors. Players are encouraged to wear their most Aussie outfit.

Wednesday Wackers winner was Rob O'Callaghan with 39 points from runner-up Steve Webb on 38. Nearest the pins: 4th Steve Webb, 6th Owen O'Callaghan, 13th Geoff McKenzie,15th Gary Nolan. Ladies nearest the pin was Viv Burton. Ball comp went to 35 points.
Saturday was stableford; A Grade winner with a great score was Aaron Wooley with 44 points from Mark Delgantie on 42. B Grade went to Dom Delguzzo, 41 points, from Shane Smith on 40. Nearest the pins: 4th Jason Nardi, 6th Rodd Tait, 13th and 15th Aaron Wooley to cap off a fine day of golf. Drive and Chip A Grade Mark Delgantie , B Grade Bruce Harrison, C Grade B Hillyer.
