The white Holden Rodeo had been left by the side of the road by the owner on Sunday evening after running out of fuel.
A RFS worker spotted the smoldering car at around 7.30am on Monday morning.
He saw a the passenger side window had been smashed and the interior of the vehicle damaged by the flames.
Four RFS crew members and two trucks attended the scene and put out what remained of the blaze.
