The L&D CC Ferrets batted first against Narrandera last week at Mark Taylor Oval and were bowled out for 148 after 51.4 overs.
Narrandera had to bat out nine overs before the end of the day’s play and were able to make it through unscathed at 0/20.
The Carpheads will need a further 120 runs to claim first innings points.
In the other A grade fixture, the Phantoms and Yanco Cricket Club are battling it out. The Stags made a competitive 151 in their first innings, while the Phantoms are sitting in the precarious position of 1/1 and will need to focus on batting for most of the day.
