A 26 man has fronted Griffith Local Court over a variety of firearms charges after shots were fired in Leeton in the early hours of Monday morning.

Michael Robert Foote, aged 26, stands accused of using a firearm under the influence of alcohol, firing a firearm in a public place, not keeping a firearm safely and driving with whilst over the legal alcohol limit.
Police arrived at a Gossamer Street around 12.20am on Monday after receiving several Triple Zero reports of shots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers found the accused standing next to a vehicle.
They allegedly noticed a 12-gauge shot gun in the vehicle as they approached. Police allegedly later discovered the gun was loaded with five live rounds.
Mr Foote was arrested at the scene.
The man was taken to police station and breath-tested, allegedly returning a reading of .141.
Back in Gossamer Street, officers established a crime scene. Police say six spent shell cartridges were seized and taken for forensic examination.
The accused has been refused bail and will appear before Deniliquin Local Court on March 6.
