After their demolition of Darlington Point-Coleambally the week before, the Hawks were primed for their next task against the Yenda Blueheelers.
Despite being a number of troops down, Yanco-Wamoon put plenty of pressure on the reigning premiers throughout the match.
In the end, Yenda proved to be only slightly better, taking out a 12-6 win.
Bianca Smith scored the solo try for the Hawks. The Greens enjoyed the bye last weekend, but the side will now be looking forward to getting back into consistent football.
