The Phantoms proved far too good for CSU at Leeton No.1 Oval with a 70-14 win.
But the scoreline really blew out in the second half.
Leeton captain Tim Rolls was impressed with the fight showed by Reddies after really pushing the premiers in the first half.
“The scoreline probably flattered it, but it was a good win,” Rolls said.
“The first half was certainly not looking like a 70-14 win at all.
“Certainly in the first half they were very competitive.”
Leeton scored two late tries to head into the break up 27-7 before running away with things in the second half.
Rolls thought the team consolidated around the ruck and it helped them get on top.
Noa Rabici continued his fine start to the season with a hat-trick in the win.
Leeton are now preparing to tackle Griffith.
Their is a strong rivalry between the two clubs and Rolls is expecting a tough clash.
