Trifogli believes United’s first grade side let last weekend’s match against Wagga United get away from them as a result of numerous turnovers and errors that were made.
He said the team needed to stick to their game plan and structures across the field.
“It’s those silly mistakes we’re making that are really hurting us,” the assistant coach said.
“We need to fix that up and then I think we’ll be right. It’s not that we aren’t playing good football.
“It’s just these errors which are really starting to have an impact. If we stop doing that, we’ll be fine.”
This weekend United returns home to the Mia Sports Field to take on South Wagga.
With United having one win on the board, they hope to make it a solid outing over South Wagga who are yet to register a victory this season.
“We just need to work as a team … we haven’t scored many goals this season, but we’ve had a lot of chances,” Trofogli said.
“If we can capitalise on those chances and convert them, we’ll be fine. We’ve got a good team, it’s just cutting out those mistakes.
“We do that and it will all come together.”
