Last week the club combined its junior and senior Thursday training run to include everyone from the under 9s through to A grade.
“Junior netball development was the focus for the session,” A grade co-coach Caryn Deaton said.
“Having our Junior Crows netballers play in the South West Junior League, separate from the Riverina Football Netball League, means there are only a handful of days when juniors and seniors play on the same day, at the same location.
“We are hoping to foster the leadership from our senior players and develop mentor relationships through our junior club, the future of Crows netball.
“Events like this also offer a pathway for our talented girls into playing in the senior grades and as coaches, we can identify these girls early on.”
After two weeks away from the court thanks to the club and representative byes, the senior Crows will take on MCUE on Saturday in an away game.
