A grade remain winless so far in season 2018 and on the weekend that trend continued with a 50-25 loss at the hands of the Wagga Tigers.
It hasn’t been the start the team wanted, but with a youthful side on board, the only way is up.
Co-coaches Caryn Deaton and Libby Gillespie are building their squad and, while they would like to see more wins next to A grade’s name, they know the future is bright with many young talented players all pushing for selection.
This weekend the Crows finally return to Leeton Showground for just their second home match of the season.
Taking on the Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong Lions will be A grade’s best chance for a victory yet.
The Lions are also yet to pick up glory in 2018 and the Crows will be a force to be reckoned with on their home court.
A win could see them heading in the right direction up the ladder as they hope to gain momentum from here on out to secure a spot in the finals.
