The Central West Lifestyle magazine, a quarterly publication that shines the spotlight on many communities of rural and regional New South Wales, will showcase the Leeton Council area across 100 pages.
Leeton Shire Council is collaborating with Central West Lifestyle magazine. They will be working closely with Alex and Elizabeth Tickle and their team of writers and photographers, to arrange the upcoming Summer Feature.
The magazine, which is owned by Dubbo couple Elizabeth and Alex Tickle, will chronicle some of the significant stories of the area, along with the businesses, community characters and the rural heritage of the region.
Mrs Tickle says it is about giving the regional council areas a chance to tell their stories in a detailed, in-depth way, which then helps to promote the region around the state and beyond.
“We aim to look at the social fabric of the communities – country characters, iconic citizens, young achievers, landscapes, agriculture, architecture, art, culture and history,” Mrs Tickle said.
“We focus on the attributes and attractions of the area, which in turn promotes tourism in the region.”

The Central West Lifestyle magazine has been operating for over five years, with the 21st edition featuring the Narrabri Council area, recently released. Mrs Tickle says the key to its success is working closely with regional councils to ensure the best local stories are told.
The Town Feature is a great way of creating pride in the community.
The Summer 2018 edition will be a coffee table magazine that will be around the area for years to come, and it is a product that people can be really proud of.
Business owners who wish to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their business through the Leeton town feature may contact Elizabeth Tickle on 0429 441 086 or email editor@centralwestmagazine.com.au to arrange an appointment. The publishers will be in the area in the week beginning June 18.
The release date for the Summer 2018 edition is November 18, 2018. A launch event is also on the cards.
