Taking on the third-placed Mangoplah Cookardinia United Eastlakes was always going to be a challenge for the Crows, who have won just the two matches so far this season.
However, the side was prepped and ready to go and took to the court with enthusiasm.
It wasn’t long before the Goannas started to leave their mark, with Leeton-Whitton eventually going down 70-24 to the well-drilled team.
The end verdict was similar to the round one scoreline where the Crows lost 73-32 to MCUE.
While the side knows it won’t make finals this year, co-coaches Caryn Deaton and Libby Gillespie are continuing to work hard with the group to ensure they improve.
Many youngsters have been added to the A grade line up in 2018 as they go through a rebuilding phase.
This weekend they will again play at home, this time hosting the second-placed Wagga Tigers in what will be another challenging match.
Last time the two teams met was in round six where the Tigers scored a 50-25 victory.
