Greenway plied his trade at Southcity last season, scoring four tries in seven games for the premiership-winning side before succumbing to a knee injury.
The setback prompted a reassessment which led Greenway to explore other non-contact fitness pathways, landing him alongside partner, former Leeton resident, Gabrielle Lyons in the body building sphere.
Lyons is the more experienced bodybuilder of the two, having competed in several events and finding plenty of success along the way, including a Elite Pro gold medal.
“She’s done a fair few now,” Greenway said.
“She competed in the International Body Building Federation Elite Pro in Sydney and ended up coming first in the NSW All Female Classic in the wellness division.”
Greenway has also found success on the Pro League circuit, making the podium at the Bendigo Country Classic with a third place finish in the novice division and a bronze medal in the open men’s over 80 kilogram category.
