Two games of triples was played and the teams were well matched, with very close results.
The drawn winners were Joan Bourke, Jan Carroll and Jeanie Leighton.
Wilma Alexander won the lucky draw and Lorraine Messner had a resting toucher.
Four of our players are travelling to Ganmain today to play in their tournament.

LEETON SOLDIERS CLUB: The singles championships got underway on Wednesday on a day that the weather threw everything at the players, with very little sun, plenty of wind and a brief shower of rain.
Betty Howard played Lorraine McKellar and with both players giving it their all their scores were level after 16 ends before Lorraine put her foot down to win the last five ends and take out the match 25-17.
Jan Munro got away to a good start against Lee Noble leading for the first 13 ends.
Lee’s experience came to the fore and by playing consistent bowls she came away with the victory 25-16.
Laurel Cox walked onto the green ready to play and didn’t give Jean Plant many opportunities to score. Jeannie put her best foot forward and made Laurel work for her win.
After ten ends Dianne Colyer and Margaret McKenzie were even on 6-all.
Scoring was difficult but with persistence Margaret was able to come away with the win.
Winner of the day was Margaret McKenzie and her marker Colleen Harrison.
Runner-up was Laurel Cox and her marker Jenny Pike.
There were no resting touchers.
The mixed pairs which are set to start September 1 will be played in the format of three bowl pairs so no excuse ladies please put your name forward.
Tomorrow: L McKellar will play M McKenzie – marker D Colyer. L Noble will play L Cox – marker B Howard.
Trials ends 9.40am.
There will be social bowls for others wishing to play.
