Once the 80 minutes had been played out, it was the Blueheelers who came away with a 30-18 win at Wade Park and thus the top spot heading into finals.
The Yenda side was able to make a fast start with Jack Glyde and Semi Tafili crossing inside the opening six minutes before Leeton were able to get one back through Josh Fisher.
A try to Jayke Stevenson and Jordan Demarzo saw the Greens take the lead however it was short lived with Stephen Broome and Josh Lavemai crossing for their first of the day while Tafili scored his second to see the home side leading 30-14 at the interval.
It was a low scoring second half with the only points coming in the form of a try to Kirtis Fisher five minutes after the halftime break.
While Yenda has picked up silverware, the loss signals the end of the road for the Greens who needed to win the game if they were to have any chance of keeping their season alive.
Yenda now has the weekend off to prepare to host the major semi-final on Sunday, September 2.
They will face off with the winner of the qualifying final between Waratahs and Tullibigeal Lake Cargelligo for a chance to advance straight into the grand final.
