A day after Mr Turnbull survived a leadership challenge from former Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton, Mr Guy reaffirmed his support for the prime minister.
"The Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, will be a part of my campaign," Mr Guy told reporters at parliament.
Victoria goes to the polls on November 24, and Mr Guy said he had not advised his MPs to stay away from Mr Turnbull in the lead up.
He pleaded for those in federal parliament to focus on Australia, not themselves.
"My message to the federal Liberal Party is get on with the job, start focusing on Australia, start focusing on good government," he said.
"Australians want good government, they are looking for it, they are wanting a real contest between two parties come the next election, but that does not mean a contest within yourself.
"Australians want that leadership, now get on with it."
